Frequently asked

What is Bucketize?
A calm, iPhone-only planner for salary day. It maps your income to bills, set-asides, and planned spending so you can see what is safe to spend — it is not a daily expense tracker.
Does it connect to my bank?
No. Bucketize never links to a bank or imports transactions. You decide what goes in, which keeps the plan intentional and completely private.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone. If you turn on sync, it also lives in your own private iCloud account so your devices stay in step. Nothing is stored on the developer’s servers.
iCloud sync isn’t working — what should I check?
Make sure you are signed in to iCloud, that iCloud Drive is on, and that Bucketize is allowed to use iCloud in Settings. Sync needs a network connection and can take a moment to settle after a change.
How do yearly bills work?
Enter a charge as yearly and Bucketize shows the monthly amount to set aside for it. That reserve is subtracted before anything counts as spendable, so annual bills never catch you out.
What’s free, and what’s paid?
Bucketize is free to start. A single, one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited items — there is no subscription.
Can I back up or move my data?
Yes. Export your planning items to a CSV file from Settings, and import a CSV to bring them back or move them to a new device.
How do I lock the app?
Turn on Face ID or passcode lock in Settings to keep your plan behind device authentication.
What are the requirements?
An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. Bucketize is designed for iPhone only.
